BRONZE EFFECT
Here I’ve created the faux bronze effect mimicking the appearance of real bronze using a variety of techniques adding a moulding to accentuate the look.
Decorative Door Effect
Using layerd paint and gold together gives a vibe of more faded glamour to add elegance and charm to a distressed door.
Distressed Door Faux Effect
Capturing the essence of old-world charm this panel was made to look time-worn and the repeated forceful closing.
Distressed Panelling faux effect
Using a soft palette for a wood-painted piece to add authenticity. This style creates a classic French look with the patina faded panel.
FRENCH PANEL I
Layers and layers of paint to add the build-up that often happens in old buildings almost obscuring decorative details and almost getting buried in its history.
FRENCH PANEL II
Decoupage papers are used to enhance and add femininity to this decorative panel with layered texture and a pitted look.
FRENCH PANEL III
Raised stencil mixed with texturing medium picking up the soft gold paint as it is swept along the peak areas and exposing the pits and cavities. Old text decoupage paper in the mix for the look of ages.
Pair of aged and distressed Bespoke window shutters
Layers and layers of paint scraped back and repainted several times over alongside raised stencils to add a focal point.
Stencil effect I
Raised stencil created to look embossed adding variation to the traditional flat look. Using both the low and raised areas for different colour ways.
Stencil effect II
Several different colourways were used on this raised stencil to build diversity and interest.
Stencil effect III
Simple raised textured stencil brushed with gold paint adding to the uneven appearance and enhancing the peaks and cervices.
Rust effect I
Every panel has its own unique look. This one is the effect of a weathered painted surface gradually exposing the rusty metal beneath.
Rust effect Ii
Realistic rust effect adding the rivets for the industrial. Colour variations over this panel add up to the visual aged metal aesthetic.
RUST effect III
This one was created with a bolt look and large rivets. Showing where the water would have puddled on a metal section exposed to the elements over time.
Fallen plaster effect
Using a resist technique and light over a darker colourway this look was making the flaking paint expose the underlayers for the desired patina here.
Mouldy wall effect
This was created to look damp mouldy and fire-ravaged carelessness of an over used municipal building.
Mixed plaster wall i
Unlike other techniques I’ve used these paint layers were laid over each other in thick coats. Unmixed colour was a deliberate intention to add variety.

Much like the previous technique I used colours together that were not mixed properly in a graduated way for a different.
Coloured Plaster wall effect
Ultra-thin translucent layered coloured translucent paint was used here to add a luminous look and depth here that can not be achieved with a flat colour.
Colour wash floral antique effect
This was a wash of ageing colour over cracked and distressed layers under painting with a floral design to make a feel for old fragile wallpaper.
Aged Futniture Technique
Layered paint and oil, along with a gold leaf distressed – made to create the aged cabinet look of an old bureau.
OLD Plastered distressed wall
Lots of applied paint and texture here, creating uneven surfaces of cracked and continuously re-applied paint of old walls.
